This year Happiness is Dancing will celebrate our 15th year of being part of the Arts in our Great City of Sudbury. The past 15 years have been an extremely rewarding time for myself as well as everyone associated with our school. It is hard to believe that 15 years have   passed so quickly.  It seems like yesterday I opened my school with 1 studio and 75 students, and my Mom and Dad as my cohorts.  Your children as well as each of you are now part of our HID family and you will make friendships that will last a lifetime.  This year we had new students who are children of our dances in our first year of HID – what and honour to be able to have a whole new generation of dancers.

We at Happiness is Dancing are committed to the Arts in our fine city and we prove this by making sure our students and teachers participate in various community activities.  Canada Day, Garlic Festival, Caruso Festival, CTVs Christmas Telethon and Kiwanis are a number of the functions our students selflessly give their talents to and we acknowledge and thank each of you for your contributions.

Happiness is Dancing has been voted by The Sudbury Star reader pole as the favourite dance school for the last two years running.  I would like to personally thank each and every one of you for your hard work and continued support of our students and our studio.

I am so proud of our teachers at HID.  They have worked extremely hard to live up to the basic philosophy of HID, making your children happy through the art of song and dance.  I would like to thank my family for their support during a very busy year of dance; you complete me, support me and love me unquestioningly.  And a very big thanks to all our parents and volunteers .. you know who you are, and we couldn’t do it without each of you … you are the best!!
